Individual Counseling
Students may see one of the counselors individually to deal with a specific issue or concern. Referrals can be made by the student, as well as parents, teachers, administrators or anyone who is concerned about the student. We will take referrals in our office, through email or through our online referral system. Check out the referral tab for the specific links.
Small Group Counseling
Students may also see one of the counselors in a small group. Small group counseling sessions vary in number and in topics. These sessions allow the counselors to work together with a group of student to address similar needs. These groups will most often meet for a number of sessions spread across several weeks. Topics include:
- behavior
- social skills
- anxiety
- grief/loss
- divorce
- anger management
- academic support
